WHY TAKE THE SHUTTLE:
A section of the race course is along the gravel Bahtera Track. This section can generate a lot of dust from passing cars. Additionally, too many cars cause congestion for runners on the track, it is not safe for racers or volunteers, AND there is limited parking at the venue. CONCLUSION: the shuttle bus is much more convenient and the best option to arrive and depart the venue;-)
Sarimbun Scout Camp is situated in the beautiful, lush and densely treed northern part of the island. It is a remote, raw and wild location - rarely visited by the public. On Race Day, we strongly encourage all runners to take public transportation, carpool or ride share to the venue. Parking will be very limited.
It can be tricky securing a taxi/Grab/GoJek from Sarimbun Scout Camp given the remote nature of the venue.
To ensure a stress-free, easy and smooth race-day process for our runners, we have arranged shuttle bus services departing every 60 minutes from Kranji MRT starting from 05.00am. The bus ride from Kranji MRT to Sarimbun Scout Camp will take ~20-30 minutes. You can also book a seat on the bus back to Kranji MRT after your race is done.
Due to safe distancing requirements, the bus is a 40-seater, but we can only have 29 passengers per vehicle.
You will not be allowed to enter the venue or register for your race more than 30 minutes prior to your start time.
Please factor in travel time to the venue when reserving your slot on the bus.
For example:
Your race start is 11am. Please arrive at the venue no earlier than 10.30am.
In this case, we would suggest booking the 10am shuttle from Kranji MRT.
Likewise, if you think you will finish your run in 1 hour, please book the 12.30pm shuttle back to Kranji MRT.
Don't forget - NO spectators, and you will not be allowed to 'hang around' after the event. There will be a shuttle waiting area outside the race venue.

KRANJI MRT PICKUP / DROP-OFF POINT - Come out of the MRT entrance and walk to Bus Berth 1. The shuttle bus shuttle bus will pick up and drop off there. There will be a RUN WILD sign in the bus window. The bus looks exactly like the one in the picture, a pink 40-seater.
RACE START / FINISH PICKUP / DROP-OFF POINT - Our shuttle bus will drop off and pickup just after the MOE Adventure Centre entrance on Jalan Bahtera. There will be a RUN WILD sign in the bus window. You will walk down towards Gate 6 at the end of the road for Check In, Safe Entry contact tracing and registration. There will be no other entry points to the venue. There will be two tents set up to provide shelter for those waiting for the shuttle bus to depart for Kranji MRT.

How do I get a seat on the shuttle bus? Please book your bus ticket here. You will need to show the driver or our crew your payment confirmation when boarding.
How much is each trip? Each one-way trip is $5, and can be booked here.
What happens if I miss the bus? Don’t be late! The bus is on a turnaround schedule and will not be able to wait for latecomers. If you miss the bus time that you booked from Kranji MRT, you’ll have to find you own way to the Race Start. If you miss the return bus from Sarimbun Scout Camp, there should be space on a later bus. Priority will be given to those who pre-booked for the departing time slot.
Can I buy a bus ticket on the day? Depending on availability, you can purchase a ticket on the day using PayNow. A QR code will be on the bus if you need to make payment. Priority will be given to those who pre-booked for the departing time slot. if the bus is full, you will not be able to get a ticket on the day.
What are the bus times? The bus departs Kranji MRT (to SSC) hourly from 05.00am. On the return leg, the bus departs Sarimbun Scout Camp (to Kranji MRT) every hour from 05.30am
How long does each journey leg take? Journey time each way is approximately 25 minutes.
Is the shuttle bus waiting area (at the venue) sheltered?
Yes, there will be a tent to provide shelter from the sun or rain. Please ensure you are maintaining safe distancing practices (and MASKS ON) while waiting for the shuttle bus to arrive.
