The Dead F**king Last Backyard Ultra is a race where competitors must consecutively run a 6.71km (4.1667 miles) loop of a pre-determined course in one hour or less. When each loop is completed, the remaining time within the hour is typically used to recover for the next hour's loop.

Exactly one hour after Dead F**king Last Backyard Ultra’s first lap (20.00h on 17th Oct), the competitors must run the next 6.71km loop with a one-hour window for completion. These distance loops are repeated hourly. The race ends when there is only one person remaining on course and they complete their final 6.71km loop and cross the finish line. The distance the runners race each hour is set at 6.71 km. The race will end when the last runner completes a solo loop within the allotted time.

Any runner not in the starting corral for any race, is not eligible to continue. No late starts will be tolerated.
If no single runner can complete a race at the end, there will be no winner.
